When I buy apples I store them in the fridge, that way they keep for longer and are always crisp and ready to eat. However, I give them a good wash in warm sudsy water first and use a vegetable brush to scrub them well too. I dry them gently and place them in a bowl or in the salad compartment of the fridge, that way they can last for several weeks and still taste sweet and yummy. |
